Marketing & Content Diva

I joined PublicEarth in March 2008, and work on marketing, & content and community development.

I have a variety of interests, ranging from art to trail running. I'm an avid trail runner, and have been running and racing for 13+ years. I love exploring trails on foot, be it running, hiking, or snowshoeing. I learned how to snowboard 6 years ago, and enjoy the great resorts in Colorado like my fav, Beaver Creek. I dabbled in personal training when I was living in Fairfax, Virginia, and love sharing great tips (and places!) to get and stay in shape like Fountainhead Regional Park.

Besides my outdoorsy interests, I love art, photography and history. I was an art history major during my undergrad years, and was lucky to intern at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. doing photography.

Good morning Megan. My wife and I are presently traveling south in our motorhome ELTORO toward warmer weather from our cold Canada. We are near the Mississippi River west of Hinnibal, Missouri.

Thanks Megan, and nice to get a warm welcome few minutes after joining. Currently writing a first look piece on my website www.samrag.com as my first impression of your site is very good.
Wish you all the best and I intent to add few locations to Public Earth in the coming weeks, seeing as I have lived in 5 countries and visited countless others.

Take care,
Sam

Good Morning Megan.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I only just joined yesterday. It will take me a little time to get use to this site. Besides being an RV'er who enjoys the peacefullness of the Boondocking/Dry-camping experiences. I am also well traveled abroad. I too, will need to work on my profile

Thanks Megan...after reading your profile I realize I need to put a lot more into mine. I am active in hiking and going off the beaten trails for a week at a time. I also like to use my 4-wheeler to go to the far outback. I have been taking care of my wife for the past three years as she is fighting ovarian cancer. We'll be lucky to see Christmas together this year. I have a 5th wheel travel trailer and plan to be on the go for long periods of time soon. I am a flintknapper and go all over the country looking for flint rock. There is a friend of mine that lives up on Millionaire Hill there in Boulder. Jake King. Quite a character....later.
